Dear Diary...

Well, as you can tell, I was never very good at keeping a diary. I just couldn't be bothered to write something all the time. I fear I'm at an impasse at the moment.

I'm very busy these days and I also figure no one needs to listen to another anti-Bush rant…it's far too easy a target. I amaze myself with my self-control sometimes! :-)

I did read a news story about a pet parakeet returning home after 4 years. I didn't even know parakeets lived that long…mine never seemed to. I've thought about getting a bird or fish again but I just picture Tyler or Emma (my cats) thinking it's a big lunch buffet!

So in the best interest of all concerned, I ignore those “get a bird” and “get some fish” impulses and the kitties just have to be content with cat treats or canned tuna.
