This Week's Featured Recipe - 2
I know I said, not all of these featured recipes will be by Tyler Florence, but he gets the nod for the second week in a row. This week's featured recipe is Tyler Florence's Ultimate Roast Chicken. This recipe is a major hit around my house. The first time I made it my father said, “This is really good!” about 20 times throughout the dinner. The chicken comes out full of flavor, nicely roasted and very juicy. It is nice with a side dish of roasted potatoes and the vegetable of your choice.
This is also a favorite recipe of mine for that summer time picnic — just serve it room temperature with a nice salad and a chilled bottle of white wine. I've enjoyed this several times with music at Ravinia Festival and watching a performance at First Folio's Shakespeare Festival.
