Tap...Tap...Is this thing still working?
Wow! I actually remembered how to get in here and update this blog! It's been so long, I seriously wondered if I could. Just kidding!
It's been a busy few months for me, with very little end in sight until after the summer.
I am excited, though. This weekend I'm about to have my first harp lesson in almost a year. I had to stop due to family health problems and all the necessary adjustments to my life while I took on the role of providing care for my elderly parents. Little by little Dad has gotten better and little by little, I've been able to pursue my old interests.
I actually went away for the 4th of July weekend. Two whole nights that were not spent at home for the first time since mid-September 2003. I still don't know how I'm going to manage any longer vacations yet at this point but the 2 day jaunt seemed like heaven either way.
And the harp lessons are going to be good to get back to. I've neglected my harp for too long. I'm hoping some of it will be like riding a bike…it'll all come back. Unfortunately, when I stopped the lessons, I don't think I had my training wheels off yet so where will it leave me??
Better get practicing, eh?
