Anyway, today's entry is courtesy of a friend of mine who just emailed this to me. I found it amusing so I thought I'd share. I can say that I've definitely used the *Xerox Subsidy* and am a borderline *Mouse Potato*.

Burger King has found a new way to market themselves. They have set up a website, hired a guy to sit around in a chicken suit, and perform on command for the world. I can only imagine how desperate this guy must have been for a job! _They call it Subservient Chicken._
- This Week's Featured Recipe - 5, 04/10/2004
For a change the recipe doesn't come from a book or from a website. This week's recipe is from my cousin Dawn. She is the most amazing cook and once while I was visiting she made a wonderful chocolate cake with white frosting. The chocolate cake recipe you can get off the Hershey's Cocoa Can but the frosting tasted like marshmallows. Dawn made it from scratch and said it was a step or two away from how you'd make homemade marshmallows.

When this campaign "season" began, I was not concerned by all the candidates who threw their hats in the Presidential Ring. As far as I was concerned, there was only one surety. I didn't care who the democratic party nominated --- he or she was getting my vote.

I love asparagus and it's on sale this week. I got my new Williams-Sonoma catalogue the other day and they had a recipe for Strata with Asparagus, Sausage, and Fontina that looked wonderful. It serves 12 so I think I'll halve the recipe and perhaps make it for Easter Morning.
